Rachel’s Kitchen

March is officially here, bringing with it the hum of spring and, of course, a little talk of luck. Whether you’re looking for four-leaf clovers or just a bit of good fortune in the new season, we like to think that the best kind of luck is the kind you create by following your heart.

At Sketch Simply, we believe the luckiest communities are the ones filled with people who lead with kindness and passion. This month, we are so excited to feature a local business owner whose success isn’t just about being in the right place at the right time, it’s about a literal dream, a leap of faith, and a whole lot of heart.

Join us as we celebrate our March Small Business Feature: Rachel’s Kitchen.

After moving to Florida a few years ago, Rachel had a vivid dream about baking a chocolate cake from scratch in her new kitchen. Taking that as a sign, she picked up a whisk, fell in love with the art of baking, and never looked back. What

began as cakes for friends, family, and her church community officially became Rachel’s Kitchen in the spring of 2021. Since then, she has crafted over a hundred cakes, turning "love at first bite" into a local reality.

While Rachel’s Kitchen specializes in stunning custom cakes, cupcakes, and cakesicles, the "secret ingredient" isn't found in a pantry. Rachel operates as a Christian business owner, and her primary driving force is exuding the love of Jesus through every interaction.

Her business is built on the foundation of 1 Corinthians 10:31: “Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” When you order from Rachel, you aren't just getting a dessert; you’re being served by someone who truly cares about the joy of your celebration.

You can find her at the Kissimmee Main Street Market or connect with her on the Nextdoor app. For Rachel, being part of these platforms isn’t just about business—it’s about being a neighbor and taking a small part in your family’s most joyous days.

How You Can Support Rachel’s Kitchen

Rachel’s goals are simple but powerful: she wants to continue growing her customer base, expand her kitchen, and—most importantly—bring more light into the world.

If you want to support this small business, here is how you can help:

  1. Follow & Share: Give her a follow on Instagram or TikTok and share her work with your friends.

  2. Leave a Review: If you’ve enjoyed a treat from Rachel, leave a positive review or constructive feedback. It builds the trust necessary for others to invite her into their special occasions.

  3. Order for Your Next Event: From birthdays to "just because," let Rachel create something custom for you at msrachelskitchen.com.

Rachel, thank you for sharing your light (and your sweet treats) with our community. We are so honored to feature you this month!
